Paul Moreira, multi-awarded journalist and producer, knows the far right: he was born in it, in Portugal under the Salazar dictatorship. And since he fled to France as a child, Paul has always kept an eye on nationalist movements. A left-wing activist in his youth, he often confronted them. Today, he wanted to approach them differently. Far from the elites, he set out to meet the new voters of the National Front to establish a long-term relationship and to kindly confront their ideas with the reality of a field survey. A year of filming, a year of head-to-head discussions to understand the reasons for the shift in their vote, hunt for clichés and flush out impostors. Fear of Islam, social aid for foreigners, economic slump, dictate from Brussels, calls for murder in the Koran...
