The Longest Cargo Bicycle Parade

In Belgium, Mechelen is not only a real bicycle city, but also a cargo bicycle city. That is why we challenge you to form a procession of cargo bikes during the opening party of the Tangent and Margaretatunnel. Load your children, dog or picnic in the cargo bike, decorate it with bells and whistles and ride along! We leave at the entrance of the Margareta tunnel at Jubellaan and continue like this. At the height of the N15 we leave the Tangent and continue our procession via the bicycle highway in the direction of Tivoli. After a trip of about 5 kilometers we end up in Tivoli, where you can have a picnic or visit the HAP food truck festival.
