SSBA Banjo Licks of the Week. D tag licks April 7th 2015
Hi, I'm Royce Burt, a member of the Sunshine State Bluegrass Association. Here are three D chord tag licks to be used at end of songs. I'm in the key of G. These licks will work well in old Standard bluegrass tunes....Cabin tunes, mountain tunes ect. This will put a nice flash at the end of your banjo break. Learn to use your ears on learning licks and try to use less tab. It will make you a quick study on stealing licks if you try and develop this area of your playing. Go to our Facebook page and like our page. Sunshine State Bluegrass Association. If you are in Florida you may consider joining our growing group of pickers. Lots of good stuff happening...Royce
