The Krapu KWHOLASOTHAR Trail (K3 Trails), a Gurung Heritage Trail : Episode I

#krapukwholasothartrail #madirm We’ve visited several beautiful locations inside Madi Rural Municipality, Kaski and we’re not done yet. This time around, we’ve directly collaborated with Madi RM and present to you a new circuit route connecting Tangting, Krapu and Sikles, Kori. This trail goes through the beautiful hilltops of Chomro, Tapre and reaches Kwholasothar, the origin village of the Gurung (Tamu) people of Nepal. The journey then continues towards Tiunche (Kali) Lake which looks exactly like the map of Nepal from up above. After Tiunche, it’s the beautiful and wide Thullek, its lakes and finally to Kori from where we descend down to Sikles and reach Tangting, concluding our week-long trek. We’ve named this trail, “Krapu Kwholasothar Kori Trail”, a gurung heritage trail. K3 in short.
