Trains at Chester - 04/07/2023

Filmed on 04/07/2023. So, it is out and away crossing near enough to the gateway to North Wales and the frequent services of Merseyrail. This is Chester (Season 10 Episode 14) Now, the North Wales Coastal route for today is seeing some major signalling issues which does lead to either heavily delayed trains or short notice cancellations. But, Transport For Wales with thanks to them having spare units based at Chester, some of the units has been called out to work on special/additional diagrams. Some of the MK4 sets are not in service but one is being trial as a 5 carriage set. Sprinter units are the replacements. Some of the class 175's are back in service due to a fire on one of the units. After carrying out checks, some of them are back in service but majority are awaiting for what the future holds for them. Their replacement the class 197's are already in service and or even on driver training duties. Its led to believe Transport For Wales are trying to get these units into service as soon as possible.
