We continue our full time overlanding journey, driving our Australian Land Rover Defender deep into the Serengeti National Park via the western gate. After heavy rains, the tracks turn into challenging, waterlogged terrain - putting our Defender and overlanding set up to the test. Along the way we encounter incredible African wildlife, including elephants, giraffes and herds of wldebeest, zebra and antelope during the Great Migration. This is real overland travel - raw, unpredictable and rewarding. We camp at a remote, unfenced campsite in the Serengeti, surrounded by nature, before rescuing a stranded Toyota Land Cruiser stuck in mud and then exit the park a Ngorongoro Crater conservation area.
