Easy way to repair an inflatable paddle board
Jason with Hydrus Board Tech showing you how to repair inflatable paddle boards. Tools needed: Repair kit that comes with your Hydrus Board (should come with any decent board). Out of that repair kit you’ll need the *cement *patch material. In addition you’ll need *150-200 grit sandpaper *clamp *rubbing alcohol *masking tape *pencil and a *wooden paint stick or something to press the patch onto the board prior to clamping. Tips: 1.make sure to keep the patch and board completely clean from dust, or residue or and oils. 2. Use cement as directed. For the cement that comes in the repair kit with a Hydrus board you’ll want to apply liberally to both surfaces the wait approx. 15-30 seconds before pressing together. The patch should stick to the board without being help in place at this point. 3. Use masking tape to keep the area around the patch clean. 4. Let the board sit approx. 36 hours before use.
