Plowing a vegetable garden with scattered manure for planting potatoes. In this video, I showed how I plow with a modified horse-drawn plow on a walk-behind tractor with a standard factory single-point hitch. In the video, I stated a plowing depth of 15-18 cm, but upon measurement, it turned out to be more – 18-20 cm – and a width of 30-32 cm. The soil in this area is heavy loam, but the tractor easily plows with my plow. Two such bodies with such a plowing depth and width are not so easily pulled by such a tractor. By the end of plowing, when I hit virgin soil, the load became very heavy and the tractor's rear axle almost came off. A video about this failure will follow. I should have reduced both the plowing depth and the plow's working width, but I didn't.
