World's first helicopter trial - Offshore floating wind turbine hoisting demo

In a world-premier trial, Airbus Helicopters and partners teamed up to show that helicopters are an important asset in the support of floating wind farms. Using an H135 and H145 the team demonstrated that helicopters can transport technicians and cargo to floating wind farms, even in challenging conditions with 30 knots of wind and a sea state of 6.
