Our first long-haul flight with a baby… and it ended in absolute chaos. What started as a smooth flight from Dubai to Tokyo quickly turned into a nightmare in the sky. We flew premium economy with emirates which is a really good half way house between economy and business. We faced hours of turbulence, couldn't feed or change our baby for what felt like forever, and then — the unthinkable — our plane had to make an emergency medical landing in Beijing after a passenger suffered a stroke.
