He later served as the Director General of Police (DGP) Nagaland, where he brought structural reforms, revived sports within the police, and emphasized regional identity and pride in uniform. Post-retirement, he continues to serve as State Election Commissioner, Nagaland, guiding democratic processes and advocating for clean, ethical elections rooted in integrity and Christian values.
