He was a priest from the 3th century in Rome. At his time it was forbidden by the Roman emperor to get a Christian marriage or at some point forbidden in general, but he still secretly married couples in a Christian way. So he gave couples the opportunity to live together and to seal and manifest their love for each other in a world where it was forbidden❤️.
