Through The Looking Glass

Through The Looking Glass is a cinematic alternative‑rock journey by Travis Helmboldt, evolving across eras of human history. The track begins with warm acoustic guitar and soft strings as a man watches early civilization through a telescope. Electric guitars, retro broadcast textures, and subtle static emerge as the telescope becomes a mid‑century television showing wars, revolutions, and global triumphs. In the final section, digital pulses, glitch effects, and atmospheric synths take over as the TV transforms into a modern computer screen streaming the chaos and beauty of today’s world. The male vocal grows from quiet awe to overwhelmed urgency, ending with the realization that the observer is no longer separate from the world he’s been watching. More music coming soon as I begin releasing songs through Soundrop and expanding the catalog across platforms.
