Bush Whacking The Heavy Wet Pow on The K2 Excavator

This board is phenomenal at keeping float and speed in the heavier powder. Wet slushy snow is what Whistler is all about come the spring time! There's nothing better than grabbing a set-back, powder capable board, and shooting off into the woods to find some slushy, hair brained lines of glory! When the powder is wet, the snow can feel like mashed potatoes. To compensate, you have to lean back, and get that nose outta the snow. Maintaining your speed and keeping momentum is the name of the game in flatter zones, whilst going where no one has gone before remains one of our top priorities. Finding the runs un tracked is a huge focus for our gang, and today was no exception! A little precise corridor had caught our attention on a previous day, and we spared no time in finding it again, as to hit its pristine un touched line. The K2 Excavator helped to steer me right- round, baby right- round (much like a record player). I loved the stiffer profile, and its over-all shape for making swifty turns. Its shape is like a rocket- making it fast and agile for tree exploration. Over all these conditions are still awesome for "late" season, and we are super fortunate to still be stoking this hard! Don't stop believing, hold on to that feeling! We'll see ya for the next one! Cheers!
