ISAK SUMI CLARIFIES ON ALLEGATIONS LEVIED AGAINST HIM IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH NLTV

After the impeachment of Ato Kilonser Isak Sumi led by president NSCN K Khango where the government alleged him for misconduct of power, funds, substance abuse etc. Today in an exclusive talk with NLTV, Isak Sumi revealed a few past things, especially how he was introduced to opium or drugs during his living in Burma. Sumi further stated that for the past 2 years he has completely given up on alcohol and other substance intake. While clarifying all allegations levied against him, Isak Sumi mentioned that without any consultation or presentation in the parliament neither two-thirds of majority, voting by a single individual alone is improper to order for impeachment. Sumi also added that president Khango was asked to revoke his order. However, he did not do so, therefore, a joint council meeting was held, wherein the quorum resolved to impeach president Khango . .
