It’s gritty, messy in the right way, and reacts to how hard you hit the strings. You’ve got octave down for that thick “where’s the bassist?” weight, octave up for that nasty grind, plus a dry blend so you can dial it in instead of it taking over completely. I run it through a Fortin-modded TS9 and it gets properly dirty. On the 7-string playing Korn riffs it turns into this chaotic, heavy wall that feels more like an instrument than an effect. It doesn’t track perfectly — but that’s the fun of it. Pick softer and it behaves. Dig in and it starts to snarl.
