The Open 2026 is just around the corner – and Bernd Ritthammer makes a momentous decision! After two intense weeks on the Tee-Time Golf Tour, Jens and Bernd check in one last time from the Wittelsbacher Golf Club. The BMW International Open and the German Challenge powered by VcG have just finished, but there's hardly any time to catch their breath: The last major of the year awaits. The Open 2026 will be played from July 16th to 19th at Royal Birkdale. The Old Course at St Andrews is on the schedule for 2027 – and that's exactly where Bernd could suddenly find himself in the mix. Tiger Christensen qualified for the major, European Champion Tim Wiedemeyer is also in the running, and at the time of this recording, Matti Schmid is still fighting for one of the last remaining spots.
