Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, delights at every turn. In the enormous Mul al-Imarat shopping and entertainment center, we sip coffee in the café, do a little shopping, and also peer through the windows to admire skiers scuttling down the slopes in 30-degree heat. A super-fast elevator takes us to the 125th floor of the world's tallest building. The Burj Khalifa impresses both from the outside and with its incredible views from the observation decks. The beach and warm water in February make us forget that it's winter, and an added attraction is a sea urchin pulled from the sea by a tourist. This happened on February 7, 2020.
