It’s Finally Here. 2026 Xiaomi YU7 GT First Look The 2026 Xiaomi YU7 GT is an extreme-performance electric SUV engineered to blend hypercar acceleration with everyday practicality. Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing an incredible 990 horsepower and 738 kW of total output, the YU7 GT delivers explosive speed with a verified top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The front motor generates 386 horsepower while the rear motor contributes a massive 603 horsepower, creating relentless acceleration and track-ready performance. Xiaomi has also confirmed the SUV’s Nürburgring Nordschleife production SUV record credentials, further establishing the YU7 GT as one of the most capable electric performance SUVs ever developed. Underneath its sleek coupe-inspired body, the YU7 GT utilizes a massive 101.7 kWh NMC battery pack paired with an advanced 800-volt electrical architecture. This system enables ultra-fast 500 kW DC charging capability, allowing the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in only 12 minutes. Despite its immense performance output, the SUV still achieves an impressive 705 km CLTC driving range. Measuring 5,015 mm in length with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, the YU7 GT offers a substantial road presence while maintaining sporty proportions. Xiaomi also equips the SUV with staggered 22-inch wheels, Brembo six-piston brake calipers, and carbon ceramic brake discs for superior stopping power and high-speed stability. The exterior design focuses heavily on aerodynamics and thermal efficiency, featuring a low-drag silhouette, a massive clamshell aluminum hood, dual air ducts, and multiple functional vents integrated throughout the body. Xiaomi engineered 10 sets of through-air channels and 19 ventilation openings to help regulate battery and drivetrain temperatures during sustained high-speed driving. An active duct-tail spoiler dynamically adjusts airflow and downforce depending on driving conditions to maximize handling performance. Inside, the cabin combines luxury with motorsport-inspired styling through track-red dual-tone materials, Nappa leather upholstery, Alcantara surfaces, and exposed carbon fiber trim. The interior also features Xiaomi’s panoramic dashboard display system alongside deeply bolstered sport bucket seats designed for aggressive driving.
