Vallarta Botanical Gardens

The restaurant has balcony seating on the upper floor, overlooking the small valley to the river below. The shade and breeze make it a great spot to rest during your visit. It's a fairly short walk to the river at the lower end of the property but it will require some steps up and down. If you plan ahead, you can bring a swimsuit and towel, or maybe a picnic setup, and hang out at the river for a while during your visit. This a is a beautiful place to visit near Puerto Vallarta where you will see many different species of plants, birds, butterflies, and various sculptures. This is about 45 minutes to an hour southwest of downtown Puerto Vallarta and there are cabs waiting at the gardens during the day for you to use when your visit is finished.
