Large crowds gathered in Hamilton and Niagara to support the trucker convoy on the way to Ottawa
A truck convoy travelling to Ottawa made its way through our area and caused slowdowns on the highway. While security forces on Parliament Hill say they're preparing for up to 10,000 protesters this weekend, we estimate about 2,000 people were seen when the convoy travelled through Niagara and Hamilton. The protest began as a push back against vaccination mandates for truck drivers but now appears to have expanded into other areas.
