In September 2025, 20 years after Sasahara Construction's construction in 2005, Matsubara Hachiman Shrine (formerly Matsubara Village), famous for the Nada Fighting Festival, will be purchasing a new set of floats. While the shrine is nationally known for the Nada Fighting Festival, the floats and mikoshi have never been on display outside of the festival season. Following the donation of the float to the History Museum by the previous shrine's founder and the installation of a Shinkansen ticket gate at JR Himeji Station by the previous shrine's founder, the float constructed in 2005 will be dedicated to the Ema Hall at Matsubara Hachiman Shrine. Construction of the Ema Hall will be completed by the day before, and a dedication ceremony will be held. After the Enshrinement Ceremony, the work was carried out while the newly refurbished floats were undergoing village training. While the Matsubara floats will be available to see anytime from now on, the work and relocation/installation were only available for that day. We are grateful to have been able to witness and film this historic moment.
