The porcelain made here is called "Nabeshima" after the clan name, among Imari ware. It was mainly used as a gift for daimyo and shoguns, and is still loved by many collectors. The beautiful scenery is also attractive!! Okawauchiyama is surrounded by landscapes that look like landscape paintings, and rows of houses that strongly retain the atmosphere of the good old Edo period remain.
