Top reasons to spend a summer in the Alps in a campervan?

As we come to the end of our first year of early retirement adventures, and head to our family ski holiday in our trusty campervan, we took the long drive to think exactly why we love the Alps so much, and why the Alps are so special in the summer. We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We have chosen to early retire from teaching during the summer of 2022 at the age of 51. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travel the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
