We felt like it was time we brang it back to the essence and showcased another one of our real UK Legends. DJ Ironik has had three UK top 10 hits; ‘Stay With Me’ charted at No. 5, ‘Tiny Dancer’ (Hold Me Closer) charted at No. 3 and also ‘I Got Soul’, a charity single which reached No. 10 in the UK charts and has also had several top 5 hits in other European countries. Legendary credentials. He talked us through his life story so far including family life; school days; always wanting to be a Dj; the highs and lows of the music game; getting stabbed and falling into depression and much more. We then put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’. We had a break for ‘RTM Banter’ at some point and the main subject was “Procrastination.” The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual, along with some RIP’s & 3’s.
