Artist Rebecca King | Working with Water
Rebecca is a contemporary abstract artist who uses inks and fluid acrylics in her work. Her art is inspired by the use of water and she often sources it from local lakes and rivers to incorporate it into her paintings. The different sources of water offer different effects within each painting. She then studies their forms and guides the paint with the water in an intuitive and meditational process. Whimsical forms interlace through Rebecca’s paintings that are surreal, joyful and expressionistic. They break free from rigidness and seemingly explore the canvas on their own.
