ADMIRAL | HOTEL FACTSHEET Located in the historic Frederiksstaden district along the inner harbor of Denmark’s capital, stands a monumental 5-star lifestyle destination and a masterclass in industrial adaptive reuse: THE COPENHAGEN ADMIRAL HOTEL. Originally erected in 1787 by Engineering Officer Ernst Peymann as two separate Royal Corn Drying Warehouses, this 105-meter-long waterfront icon was masterfully transformed into a hotel in 1978, with its latest sophisticated spatial updates completed between 2019 and 2024. The design presents a flawless juxtaposition between heavy, rustic, historic tectonics and lightweight, minimalist modern interventions.
