My First Time Trying Catch and Cook at a Remote Alpine Lake!

Earlier this year I tried a bushcraft and survival challenge where I practiced survival and self reliance skills, and in this video I wanted to take the logical next step to try catching my dinner on a backpacking trip right from the wilderness where I was camping! My first ever attempt at catch and cook! With my new fishing rod, and other fishing gear, I headed out backpacking to Sheep Lake in the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area of Idaho to see if I could catch a fish! This was a fantastic backpacking adventure, but were the fish biting or did I have to resort to my back-up dinner? Squeeze bag until ingredients are mixed. Let sit 30 mins. Add salt and yeast and mix again. Dough will be mixed when it’s not sticking to inside of the bag.
