Langkawi, Kilim Mangrove Geoforest Park in 4K

Kilim Mangrove Estuary in north-east Langkawi Island is a layered mix of tall limestone Karst walls, and sea-level mangrove forest. Tributaries extend around an interior coastal route shielded from the sea by a steep limestone wall ring, and meet streams that exit the Tanjung Rhu mangroves of the North, and the join the Taman Nilam river out through the East. This north-east rock-wall and mangrove estuary forms the Kilim Karst UNESCCO Geological Forest Park, and is home to a GeoPark museum at the Kilim River Jetty.
