It's the North East's biggest pantomime at the Newcastle Theatre Royal. This year with Aladdin celebrating 20 years of Danny and Clive. Directed by Michael Harrison there's no doubting this is one of the UK's best pantomimes full of sparkle. Danny Adams is a comic powerhouse alongside his father Clive, and Joe McElderry who delivers in this production. Chris Hayward once again dons the Dame’s frocks as Aladdin’s mum, Mother Goose, Joe McElderry returns as The Spirit of the Ring and Mick Potts joins the cast once again, this time as The Genie of the Lamp. Tyneside favourite Wayne Smith returns as Old King Cole, alongside West-End stars Rachel Stanley as The Wicked Witch and Billie-Kay as Princess Jemima.
