TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The 13th wave of Iran's Operation Nasr 2 targets the heart of the command and blinds the United States (US) network. This includes attacks in Syria's al-Tanf zone, bombardment of critical assets in Kuwait, and the main radar network in Oman. Citing Al Mayadeen on July 17, this was announced in a statement from the public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It was reported that the IRGC, along with the Iranian Army, announced a large-scale attack on United States military positions in the Middle East. The coordinated attack was launched in direct retaliation for the United States' military aggression against Iran. The IRGC, through its Air Force, carried out a surprise operation targeting the US special operations command center in the al-Tanf region of Syria. The attack on al-Tanf was part of the 11th Wave of Operation Nasr 2, specifically designed to cripple the strategic base. The full-scale operation in Syria reportedly destroyed a radar system and several US military special operations helicopters. In addition to material destruction, the Iranian airstrike on al-Tanf reportedly killed a large number of US military personnel. The IRGC asserted that this initial attack was retaliation for the deaths of several Iranian personnel in Iranshahr the previous night. The primary focus of the 13th Wave of Operation Nasr 2 was to disable the United States military's air and sea surveillance network in Oman. The primary targets in Oman included maritime surveillance radar installations in the As Salamah Islands and a US air surveillance radar unit in the Ghanam region. Concurrently with Operation Nasr 2, the Iranian Army (Artesh) also conducted the 11th phase of Operation Saegheh in Bahrain. In the attack in Bahrain, the Iranian military deployed a swarm of "Arash" suicide drones to attack the Al-Sakhir airbase. The drones targeted a helicopter base and a hangar for a US Navy P-8 maritime surveillance aircraft. Amid the escalating tensions, the IRGC asserted its full control over the Strait of Hormuz and its total blockage of oil and gas exports. The Iranian military warned the United States that any miscalculation against Tehran's defenses would have dire consequences. Using the principle of "an eye for an eye" retaliation, the Iranian government stated that it would continue this series of military operations as long as the US aggression remains unabated.
