Antique IH cotton pickers in the field: H-10-H, 14A, 416. 2025 Cotton Harvest
I was invited to attend a cotton harvest demonstration organized by Talas Farms featuring some antique machines. I brought my 14A one-row machine to join in with their H-10-H (I think) and their 416 two-row which I was able to drive until the basket was full which didn't take long. The cotton was so good that my 14A kept choking up in the front door because the blower couldn't clear the cotton fast enough. Their Farmall H picker did a little better, but was also choking up in the best cotton. You will also note that a 616 picker was also in attendance, but didn't pick since it needed a little bit more work to be field ready.
