Wanderers I followed you across the world, Running, my feet bleeding. Alas, you vanished without a trace, And I lost your image again. You appeared to me as a young lord, A stern middle-aged man, And with your proud gaze, You always cast me a righteous "no." You were a warrior and a guardian. Once—a powerful king. You were even a beautiful maiden, Why aren't we together? You always looked as if you remembered, Who we were in past lives, And turned away modestly, Losing the thread of your destiny. I was always ready to follow you through fire and water, I searched everywhere among the people For your beautiful eyes. And I kept dreaming of touching you, Holding you, hugging you, and warming you, But I was so afraid of waking up again And missing out once again. You were desirable and beautiful, The mystery of many worlds, Bloodthirsty or sweet, Wandering among my dreams. I searched for you in the crowd, When I came into the real world. Hero of many tales, Have I really found you? You looked again, as if remembering, But this time your gaze didn't move. So familiar, alluring, languid... That I suddenly froze in place. You took a step toward me, Living up the whole world with your smile.
