We explored the famous Otavalo Market where you'll find unique handicrafts: textiles, ponchos, tapestries, jewelry, and much more, all made by the hands of indigenous Otavalo artisans using ancestral techniques. We also sampled the delicious fresh natural juices offered at the market—an experience you can't miss. And we were lucky enough to experience Carnival right in the Plaza de los Ponchos and the typical joy of this Ecuadorian festival.
