I went to two hot springs in Sambo Creek, Honduras. The first is by the side of the road, 15 minutes from La Ceiba, and it is a river with hot water that runs through the jungle. I show you the river, the jungle, prices, Garifuna food, and swimming pools. The second location (Sambo Creek Canopy Tours & Spa) is located 10 minutes up the mountain from the first location. It is more expensive and luxurious and the hot spring pools run in a form of multiple waterfalls and pools. The water heats up little by little as you go up the waterfall. In the highest part, the water that gushes out from the ground is so hot that you can cook eggs and potatoes. In the natural pools below where the water is warm, you can enjoy floating fruit plates, relaxing massages, and a volcanic mud mask.
