Driving the 4x4 Sand Track to Deadvlei/Sossusvlei, Namibia (with Tips)

Deadvlei and Sossusvlei, in Namibia, are picturesque pans located deep in Namib-Naukluft national park. The road to these pans is paved up until the last 4 kilometers which then becomes a deep sand track. Visitors can drive this track themselves, but it requires a 4x4 vehicle and can be challenging for first-time off-road drivers (even those with beach driving experience). This video covers the entire 4 kilometer drive between the 2x4 parking area and the Deadvlei parking area so that you can familiarize yourself with the drive before you do it yourself.
