Train Journey | Guruvayur to Ernakulam by 06447 Express Special train!

How about a 3 hour long journey by a stopping shuttle train? Presenting a video from a journey that I did in July from Guruvayur to Ernakulam Junction on the 06447 Guruvayur - Ernakulam "Express Special". This train was earlier a "passenger" train, and hence stops at ALL stations on the route. This is a 97 kilometre ride, and takes a little over 3 hours to complete. The fare for this journey is only Rs. 50 - it costs almost double to travel by bus! This journey covers the Thrissur-Guruvayur spur line - which is not much documented! The Thrissur - Ernakulam stretch is dotted with stations - a good number of them are 'halt' stations, where only this kind of trains stop.
