Elena is an architect and developer building a tool to convert IFC models back into native Revit workflows. That means she has to deal with the hard parts of IFC every day: proxy elements, missing classification, poor export settings, lost parametric behavior, and dirty data. The main point is simple. If the IFC data is bad, automation becomes almost impossible.
