Had to run this franchise back before Scream 7 drops and honestly… I don’t think there’s a bad one in the bunch. From the absolute classic that is Scream to the convenience store chaos with the shotgun in Scream VI, this series just knows how to reinvent itself without losing that meta, self-aware edge. Yeah, there are some cheesy moments, a few plot holes here and there… and let’s not forget the Vaseline-looking filter in Scream 4. But as a whole? Every entry brings something fun to the table. The kills, the whodunnit tension, the rules, the commentary on horror trends — it’s one of the most consistent slasher franchises.
