On a trip to Sauris to stock up on prosciutto and speck, we took a short route across the Chianzutan saddle that took us to Villa Santina. From Villa Santina, we followed very narrow roads to Pani, a place that offers postcard-perfect views wherever you look. After a short break, we descended towards Forcella Pani and then to Ampezzo via a very picturesque route. Once we'd quenched Peppa's thirst, we finally set off towards Sauris and stocked up on cured meats (they have a special aroma here). On the way back, we took the route towards Casera Razzo, which, strangely, didn't rain heavily as usual.
