"The Tall Tower" is an award-winning documentary covering the history of WEAU's 2,000 foot broadcast tower located in Fairchild. The largest free-standing structure east of the Mississippi for some time, this tower toppled down on March 22, 2011 during a winter storm. This is the story of the tower's erection, destruction and construction of the brand new tower.
