Her prodigious voice, perfect timing, and overwhelming presence took her from the streets of Jerez to the most prestigious stages in Spain and around the world. She was named Queen of Bulería and collaborated with legends such as Manolo Sanlúcar, Antonio Gallardo Molina, Juanito Serrano, the Morao brothers, and her inseparable guitarist, Parrillita de Jerez. La Paquera was not only recognized in Spain. In Japan, she was welcomed as an international star, even thrilling Prime Minister Jun'ichirō Koizumi. She appeared in films such as Flamenco by Carlos Saura and Vengo by Toni Gatlif, leaving her mark on flamenco cinema and culture. Despite her success, she always returned to her homeland, singing in peñas, tabancos, and festivals in Andalusia, maintaining the purity of her art. She received numerous awards, such as the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts and the title of Favorite Daughter of Jerez.
