CHAK ANGRE KRAOM - PREK PRA BRIDGE (Updated Progress)

June 27th, 2026, one of the Cambodian Government projects, Chak Angre Kraom-Prek Pra Bridge which was inaugurated since February 19th, 2024 at a cost of around $60.2 million is now progressively reach at complete stage of roughly 70% (Seventy Percent) estimated by actual site. It will connect Meanchey district’s Chak Angre Kraom commune with Chbar Ampov district’s Prek Pra commune, across the Bassac River. The bridge stretches from the eastern side to Bassac Rive to the Western side mainly leading to 60-meter Hun Sen Boulevard, AEON Mall Mean Chey, Techo International Airport and Ta Khmao City. The bridge across the Bassac River (Chak Angre Kraom-Prek Pra) has a total length of 1,650 meters, bridge length 845.70 meters, road width 27 meters, road connecting the bridge length 804.30 meters with the same width. Minister of Public Works and Transport Peng Ponea said this project would be completed by 2027 The bridge is being built by Shanghai Construction Company.
