Written by author Iris Abravanel and directed by Reynaldo Boury, the new SBT telenovela, As Aventuras de Poliana (The Adventures of Poliana), is a story inspired by the 1913 classic children's novel, *Pollyanna*, by Eleanor H. Porter. The telenovela tells the story of Poliana, a girl who, after losing her parents, moves to São Paulo to live with her aunt, Luísa.
