2023 Subaru BRZ LS3 engine swap Part 16 Radiator Fan Control
In this set of videos we talk about the 2023 BRZ engine swap and how we did it. As with everything there are many ways to get from point A to point B. We are showing you how we did it. For the fan control we we send the PWM signal from the Haltech to a solid state relay which is actually from an industrial freezer and then that PWM signal is sent to the fans. The power comes from the high power connections from the haltech. We tried to send the PWM directly to the fans and unfortunately that did not work we needed to have the solid state relay there. Its most likely power/current draw which is the issue but a solid state relay fixed it.
