MOFFAT Classic Car Rally | Pure Petrolhead Paradise

The Moffat Classic Car Rally is a two-day celebration of automotive heritage. This is video part 2 of the MOFFAT Classic Car Rally. Held on the last weekend of June in the beautiful Scottish Borders, the Moffat Classic Car Rally has grown from humble beginnings in 1998 into one of Scotland's biggest classic car events. First organised by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts, the rally now welcomes over 900 vehicles from across the UK and Ireland. On Saturday, hundreds of classics take to the road for a spectacular scenic run through the Moffat hills, passing Tweedsmuir, Talla and Megget Reservoirs, and St. Mary's Loch before returning via the dramatic Grey Mare's Tail waterfall. The route includes the infamous "The Hill," a 20% gradient stretch of single-track road that truly tests these veteran vehicles. Sunday sees the main gathering at the Hammerlands showfield, where over 900 classic cars, motorcycles, and vans assemble for a static display.
