Iran won the war, but will Israel wreck the deal to end it? with Ali Abunimah

The United States and Iran have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to end the war of aggression launched by Washington and Tel Aviv on 28 February. President Donald Trump made huge concessions to get Iran to sign, as the world was about to head over an economic cliff. There is no doubt that Iran won the war. Ali Abunimah, executive director, reports on what is in the agreement. And although the text confirms Iran’s enormous leverage, it won’t necessarily be smooth sailing, as many difficult issues remain, and Israel, which continues to attack and occupy Lebanon and Gaza, will be determined to unravel the agreement. This is a segment from The Electronic Intifada's livestream on day 986 of the Gaza genocide. Ali Abunimah, Nora Barrows-Friedman, Jon Elmer and Asa Winstanley were joined by former Palestine Action prisoner Zoë Rogers.
