Sri Shyam Prabhu was the grand son of Bheem, second brother among the ‘Panchapandavas’ and the son of Veer Ghatotkach. He was named Barbaric. By blessings of Lord Krishna Barbaric incarnated as Sri Shyam Baba at Khatu village 17 KM distance from Ringas, 85 KM from Jaipur, Rajasthan, where a Sri Shyam Baba temple was constructed. Which has become famous as a great pilgrim center. A committee was formed by the name of 'Sri Shyam Mandir Seva Samithi, Kachiguda, Hyderabad in 1992 with for the construction of the Sri Shyam Temple. The Bhoomi Pooja was performed by Sri Bhawarlalji Badegaonwale on 5th May, 1994 under the President-ship of Sri Raghunathmalji Goel.
