Regalia (Country Club Hotel) - 2024 Tour and Update

This one is for my long time viewers, since we've been following the status of this place together for 16 years now. Things looked so hopeful the last time I stopped in back in 2019. Renovations were in progress and the place was looking good. Now, in 2024... I have no idea what's going on. Parts of the interior look nice, but the indoor pool and whole first floor were closed. Then outside, the pool area looked trashed from a party the night before and the property generally seemed to be in poor condition. Then there's the super weird overflow parking and remains of the tennis courts. I really don't know what's happening here. The property went to auction late last year, so I'm guessing the party behind the original redevelopment didn't make it. I'd normally blame the tourism crash surrounding COVID, but the Lake bounced back faster than most places did. Who knows. Guess I'll have to check back again in a year or 2 and see how things are going. http://www.theelevatorchannel.net
