The Jarai are an indigenous Montagnard group living primarily in Ou Ya Dav, Borkeo, and Andoung Meas districts in Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia. Their population is estimated at around 30,000 people, spread across more than 60 villages. Among them, approximately 3,000 identify as Christians or regularly attend church. The Tampuan are another indigenous group in Ratanakiri, with an estimated population of 31,000 to 40,000 people. Most live east of Ban Lung City, as well as in Borkeo and Lumphat districts. According to Joshua Project, about 1–2% of the Tampuan population identifies as Christian, while the majority continue to practice traditional animist beliefs.
